Lies feed on uncertainty, even where there’s none to be found scientifically.
In light of recent outbreaks of measles and other vaccine preventable illnesses, and the refusal of anti-vaccination advocates to acknowledge the problem, I thought it was past time for this post.

You are being lied to. The people who claim to be acting in the best interests of your children are putting their health and even lives at risk.

THINKING SCI-FI 
I can’t believe how someone can NOT WANT an inoculation. I just don’t get it. Can’t compute. *bleep*
Yeah, I know. I’m toying with a short story called Sluth set a hundred years from now dealing with a world polarised by science and science denial. In the story, sluth is a slang word from that time, meaning sincere lie masquerading as truth, often used ironically, as in, “Yah, wanna know the sluth?” Should be a lot of fun 🙂
it’s a matter of trust – many “anti-vaccination” people do not question the effectiveness or importance of vaccinating, but whether or not what you are being injected with is as safe/pure/effective as claimed. It’s just another symptom of the general erosion of trust between individuals and larger organizations (governments, companies), resulting from decades of misleading and manipulating.
